In the last week, I've seen two arena shows: BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN on Saturday and then BON JOVI on Tuesday. Before this, I had only seen two arena shows in the first 38 years of my life: REM and U2 sometime during my high school years. A friend of mine works at a radio station and keeps hooking me up with tickets to everything from Oakland A's baseball to the aforementioned BON JOVI. And what do I think of all this? Well....if you can get past the cheeziness of the big show atmosphere, it's pretty darn amazing. And if you like people watching, then go to a BON JOVI show. AMAZING!!

Ok, here we go. We will be releasing LEMURIA'S "First Collection" on CD and VINYL. This release consists of the various 7 inches, splits, and rarities from the first few years of the bands existance. We're already carrying the import version of the CD in our mailorder, but thought it would be a good idea to get this album out to the fine folks here in the US of A. We're looking at a release date of sometime in JULY, but the band will be selling this during the ASIAN MAN TOUR. Also, we just got in the second pressing of the LEMURIA "Get Better" vinyl on pink and white swirl(Limited to 500) and gold and silver swirl(Limited to 500).
So yup,, you can order now.

KEPI GHOULIE is keeping busy as he prepares for his double album release on May 6th of 2008. "AMERICAN GOTHIC" and "HANGING OUT" will be released as two seperate cd's and one double gate fold LP. After the Asian Man tour, Kepi will head off to do the INSUBORDINATION FEST and then over to EUROPE for more KEPI goodness. To hear a couple tracks off his new album, go here:

Also on May 6th, KEVIN SECONDS will release "Rise Up, Insomniacs!". I think this is the best KEVIN SECONDS record in the past ten years. That's including 7 SECONDS, GO NATIONAL, or any of his solo projects. How this punk rock legend finds time to do any song writing is a minor miracle. DJ ing his radio show, running his coffee shop(TRUE LOVE CAFE), booking for various bands, and blah blah blah. It's all amazing stuff, but finally it looks like KEVIN will be back on the road touring. A string of shows with CHUCK RAGAN and a tour of EUROPE later this year. Good stuff is coming from this man.

Vocalists Heidi and Erin from the HOT TODDIES will be heading over to ITALY in JUNE to do an acoustic tour. If you happen to live in ITALY and you book shows AND you're interested in helping these two girls out with shows, then please email them at eskidmore@gmail.com
