Here we go...We will be working with Jesse Michaels(Operation Ivy) in some capacity. We'll start off by putting out a 7" and we'll see where that takes us. It looks like it will be a full band recording, but when and where this release will come out is still up in the air. For now, Jesse, myself, and Kevin Seconds are playing a string of shows together over the next few months. Tomorrow night at 924 GILMAN in Berkeley and then 6 more shows across the great state of California. All the shows in December will be TOY DRIVES for the homeless. Joe Queer has finished building his recording studio in the frozen tundra of New Hampshire. This has resulted in a plethora of songs and upcoming new releases. First off will be a split with Canadian pop punkers THE RIPTIDES. I believe this will be our first release by a Canadian band? Am I wrong? Yes, I am.. I put out King Apparatus. Nevermind. But yes, the release will be called "Buy it You Scum" and will be released on CD and 12". The Queers will also be releasing a split 7" with the ATOM AGE. You can hear them at myspace.com/theatomage. It's kind of a ROCKET FROM THE CRYPT vibe. What do you think? And finally Joe is going to be finishing up the next full length. Wow! Joe Queer has got to be one of the most prolific song writers of all time. And then the Queers will be hitting the road with the Atom Age and the Hot Toddies sometime in JUNE/JULY of 09.

Kepi Ghoulie is out and about right now doing a bunch of art shows combined with his acoustic greatness. He'll be stopping by the offices of VINYL COLLECTIVE/SUBURBAN HOME to do a big showing there this Friday. Check out his dates at myspace.com/kepighoulie Kepi will be teaming up with Andrew Jackson Jihad next month to do a string of shows on the west coast.

Chris Murray is on tour with legendary 2-TONE act the English Beat. And even though the Beat is only sporting Dave Wakeling, I must say as a fan, that the songs sound pretty amazing. It's nice to hear the hits even though it's only mr. Wakeling.

We are sad to say that one of our new bands have broken up before having a chance to spread their music to the masses. The WARDOGS were only a band for a year and a half, but got a chance to play some big shows in the punk scene here in the bay area. Three out of the four members have already started a new band called FOR THE WIN, so hopefully new music will be on the way.
