Just a quick little newsletter for y'all. It's exactly 8 days before the big day. And if you haven't gotten your Asian Man order in by now, then I suggest calling us and having a rush delivery for the last minute orders. It I love hearing the frantic voices of parents trying to do their last minute. Good job parents!!

Ok, so we've got some new releases on the schedule for next year. Pretty exciting stuff. First off, we would like to announce that the Riverdales will be getting back together to do a new album. They'll start recording in FEB. 09 and a release to follow sometime in July. Ben Weasel and Danny Vapid will also be doing some Riverdales shows. So, yup.. pop punkers of the world get excited.

Ben Weasel will also be releasing a new live album called "THE BRAIN THAT WOULDN'T DIE". This is a live recording of the SCREECHING WEASEL classic album "MY BRAIN HURTS". Ben was joined again by Danny Vapid and this is slated for a May/June release.

Both albums will get the vinyl treatment and of course the oh so boring cd, but yes.. Pretty cool news.

The Jesse Michaels 7" will be under a band name which has not yet been decided. Jesse has been rehearsing with a full band and to be honest, the stuff is amazing. Sounds like RITES OF SPRING meet FUGAZI. I like it a lot and can't wait for this to be recorded. I'm a super fan, so I get all excited thinking about the fact that we will putting out a record by Jesse. For those of you who live in California, Jesse will be debuting the band live this Saturday in San Francisco and again in FEB. in Los Angeles. If you want to see exact dates, just check the tour dates section and look under MIKE PARK. I'm playing the shows too, so yup.. that's the info.

Ok, I'm off to do some last minute shopping of my own. Wish me luck. Oh by the way, is anybody out there a dentist that can look at my teeth. I have no insurance and a tooth is hurting. OUCH..!
