Good morning....
BOMB THE MUSIC INDUSTRY "SCRAMBLES" is slightly delayed. Initially we were told they were going to arrive on the 13th of FEB. Hopefully they are shipping this week. They will go out as soon as they arrive in our garage. We've pre-addressed all the envelopes, so it should be pretty painless. I'll try to take a picture of all the orders going out at once. I should have done that for the ALKALINE TRIO "Goddamnit" reissue last year. That was fun.... Anyways, sorry again for the delay. Hope it's not too frustrating for all involved.
The LAWRENCE ARMS "GUIDED TOUR OF CHICAGO" has been re-pressed on vinyl. 500 on clear red vinyl and new artwork done by Yosef Glushien (art for BIG D, DROPKICK MURPHYS). We'll be getting "GHOST STORIES" repressed too, so look for that in a few months. You can just go to 'Catalog' and then 'Vinyl' to find it and of course...ORDER IT..!!
Ben Weasel and Danny Vapid are in the studio right now recording the new RIVERDALES record "INVASION U.S.A." So far no drama to unfold, so I take that as a good thing. From the demos that I've heard, this one will be one of the best pop punk records to grace our ears in quite some time. Seriously, it's nice to see Ben being so prolific again and even playing shows. Damn, his two shows in HOLLYWOOD are already sold out and that's still a month away. Anyways, here's hoping he makes it to San Francisco so I can actually see him play live. We'll see if I can talk him into it. He's been blogging about the studio stuff here:

Have I mentioned that we are going to release some SLACKERS records? Yup... We are. We're starting with an album called "AN AFTERNOON IN DUB". An instrumental record that sounds like your spinning wax straight from Jamaica. It's such an exciting listen. I can't wait to do more of their stuff. Easily the best US SKA band going right now.
The new MONKEY record "LOST AT SEA" is coming in next month. Wefre going to start taking pre-orders for that right now. MONKEY are from right here in San Jose. Theyfve been doing the Jamaican SKA sound for nearly 15 years now. This is their third full length and is easily their best release. This is released as a digi-pak with the cover drawn by Parker Jacobs(Yo Gabba Gabba and also MC Bat Commanders brother) go to
myspace.com/monkeyska to hear some new tracks from the album.
That's it for now. Enjoy the rest of the week.
Peace, mike park
