Greetings and Merry XMAS!! It's now Tuesday. Only one week until XMAS. That's crazy!! I can't believe Xmas is next week. I've yet to buy one single gift for anyone, so this weekend will be one of chaos that I am dreading dearly. My moms house is still in shambles. My mom was yelling at the contractor today and I wanted to hit him, but I am a peaceful man, so I could only wish bad thoughts upon him. It's now more than 7 months of re-modeling for mom. The contractors are 3 months passed the time they said it would be done. My poor mom has no kitchen to cook food in and is relegated to instant noodles and crackers. Currently, N. California is going through one of the biggest storms of all time. High winds are knocking out power to over a quarter million people. Two huge trees toppled over in front of our house. Record breaking rains have caused mass floodings. The downstairs of my moms house is flooded and I spent most of the afternoon trying to dig an irrigation ditch to alleviate the flooding. Sound like fun? Yes, it is fun. But alas, I realize I am still a very, very fortunate person. I get to run my own record label, listen to punk rock at work, not work when I dont' want to, go to shows anytime I want, and I can wake up late if I want to. I need to remember these things. Tomorrow is the new Lord Of the Rings. Excited? YES!! And the new Star Trek. I'm excited for that movie too. Anyways, y'all...Have a great holiday season and remember to be good to your parents and parents be good to your kids. I've actually talked to a lot of parents this holiday season who ordered stuff and actually knew what was up with the label. But we still get so many parents who have no clue what we're about. It's the most annoying thing imaginable talking to them. Enough from me. Be good.. Smile big.
