Hope all is well. I am currently nursing my annual allergy/hayfever fun fest. You feel like you’re constantly on the verge of getting sick, but it’s just those fun allergies making you sneeze and sneeze and sneeze.

Anyways, lots and lots to cover …so here we go…!!
JAPAN RELIEF is up to $6,250. I have been working with my friend YOKO UTSUMI regarding the best way to use the money raised. YOKO UTSUMI is a dear friend whom released a record on asian man and is one of the few progressive activist/musicians that I have met in my dealings with musicians in Japan. We're still not sure 100% the best way to use these funds, but Yoko has told me that the people in Japan are still in much need, so hopefully we can still raise more funds. But I hope to have a check off by next week and will keep you updated on whom we decide to send our funds too.

DAN ANDRIANO IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM. This is the official title for Dan’s solo project. And the album is called HURRICANE SEASON. Look for an August 9th release date and a ton of special deals for vinyl enthusiasts. Dan just sent me the music yesterday afternoon and I’m really excited about these songs. They are so sweet and beautiful. Everything you’d expect from the Dan Andriano side of an A3 album. SKA! SKA! SKA!
Dan Potthast from MU330 has a new 10 piece SKA band featuring 3 members of SLOW GHERKIN and they are called DAN P AND THE BRICKS. This is no SKA PUNK, but just straight up smile big and dance SKA including a 5 piece horn section. The band just wrapped up recording in Los Angeles, where CHRIS MURRAY did the producing. I’ve heard 4 tracks thus far and I’m excited to say this thing is gonna make SKA fans so happy. I have been waiting for a new SKA band to come around and blow me away. I didn’t know it was going to take the mighty powers of MU330 and GHERKIN to make a super band, but hey.. I will take it..!!!

THE SAINTE CATHERINES “DEAD DOGS” 7 inch was delivered yesterday morning. We pressed 400 including 200 on clear gold and 200 on black. We will have a special on this starting next week. So look for that. This is also a limited edition run. We will not be re-pressing this 7” once it’s out of print. WOO HOO!!! GO SHARKS!!!

The mighty SPRAYNARD leave for tour in 11 days. They still have some holes, so if you can help them in any of the cities listed below with a HELP sign, then that would be great.
