Since Monday is Labor day and the post office is closed, we started shipping the AJJ-"KNIFE MAN" pre-orders out yesterday so hopefully the first of you will start receiving the genius that is AJJ very soon. In 1985 I heard a band called 7 SECONDS and an album called THE CREW. It changed my life and now 26 years later I'm proud to call KEVIN SECONDS a good friend and even prouder to have been able to release his music. Kevin is an amazing artist, musician, and most importantly a great person. Kevin just wants to tour and tour and play music and create art, but his Subura station wagon blew up earlier this year and now he's trying to raise funds to buy a new van to keep touring and living the dream of sleeping on strangers floors and drinking coffee. Classics of Love are almost done with their first full length. I got to hear the rough tracks and I got chills hearing the ferocity of Jesse's vocals over blistering hard core. I think every operation ivy fan who loves the punk stuff will be doing flips when this record comes out. I admit I'm a super fan boy when it comes to anything Jesse Michaels, but my goodness this is friggin good stuff.

Spraynard just told me they are opening the philly date for KID DYNAMITE on September 11th. Nice one. Wish I could fly out for that. dan potthast is back home in st louis visiting family, the apers are putting together the art for their live album, Kepi is being kepi, The Queers are heading to Europe, The Wild are enjoying the Braves, Joyce Manor is doing something, and what else?
My back still hurts? I said I was kidding about massage therapists, but my goodness if you actually are one or know of one and can hook me up with a deal I'm getting desperate.
