Happy New Year! Is is really necessary for me to say? Hmmmmm....I should be saying "Happy TODAY"! Probably unrealistic, but it sure would be great if everybody had an optimistic outlook as if it was new years all the time. Well, let me see what I did in 2001.......??? Hmmmmm....Hmmmmm....I gained about 17 pounds. That's pretty good. Ahhh. Yeah, right... I got to play music in Korea for thousands of people, I also ate bugs in Korea..as did all the members of MU330(YUCK!!, we had to try it), I got to tour with MU330 in Japan and play saxaphone for the first time in years, I fell in love with a girl named Bridgett, I learned to do the moonwalk, I finished the 2nd year of the Plea For Peace Tour, and I became obsessed with EBAY. There's a lot of other stuff of course, but I'll stop at that. Let's talk about EBAY. It's ridiculous. I have been selling all my possesions. I plan on selling everything I own except for my SIMPSONS collection and my guitar. I read an article about a guy who sold everything he owned. I want to do the same. I just sold all my comic books, half of my cd collection and now I'm gonna put all my vinyl on sale. Look for the new Asian Man Records website in Feb. and on there will be a link to my ebay auctions. It's super silly because I'll be selling stuff just for the sake of selling. Stuff that I truly like. Then I start scratching my head thinking what am I doing? But it all goes back to the article on the guy who got rid of everything. I will be like him. YES! Oh by the way, if you're not familiar with this newsletter and wonder what the heck is going on.....??? Well, this is just my section to rant about anything and everything. Sorry. Ok, more about the SIMPSONS...I love the Simpsons. I think the Simpsons is now my favorite show of all time. Even better than DeGrassi Jr. High. It's so darn funny. The toys are about the greatest things I have ever seen. Thank you Matt Groening for the Simpsons. I love you... For the year 2002, I will only play music on one tour. I will tour the UK in April with the Chinkees. And then in June, I will road manage for the ALKALINE TRIO on Warped Tour. I might go to Korea for the World Cup, but geez it's expensive and I'm not sure I can afford it right now. And of course I will do plea for peace this year, but I won't play I will just be one of the roadies and help set up the equipment and break it down. Stuff like that. Man, we've got a special treat for Plea For Peace.... I so badly want to tell you who has confirmed, but I can't right now. I'm so very excited. Anyways, I better get going now.
