Well, here I am in a van with Mu330 plus two other roadies in a small van headed to Kobe, Japan. I am touring with MU330, playing saxaphone. It's the first time I've even picked up my horn in over 2 years, but after a few shows I think the rust is gone and I'm back to some sort of adequate playing. MU330 is simply the greatest bunch of guys in the world. It's always fun spending time with them and getting the opportunity to play with them is an honor indeed. In August, I will be playing in Korea for the first time. MU330 will back me as I play songs from years past and new stuff, as I take part in the biggest music festival in Korea. It's a free show in Pusan, so if you happen to live there, then I'll see ya at the show. It's a funny bill... I'll be opening for Megadeath and Slipknot. Over 30,000 people are expected. Shoootz, I hope people don't throw things at me. Oh well...It will be fun. Well, if this is your first time on this newsletter and you're wondering where the news is, well I really just use this as a journal type of thing for my own happenings and such. Some label news is listed, but not all. So if you want to get on our mailing list, just email miya@asianmanrecords.com and write "I want to be on the mailing list". It's that easy. Ok, what else. Plea For Peace/Take Action Tour wil begin August 22nd and run through September 29th. This years lineup is Alkaline Trio, Hot Water Music, Cave In, Thrice, Selby Tigers, The Eyeliners, and Mike Park.(that's me) And then starting October 4th, the Japan Plea For Peace Tour starts with this years lineup being The Suicide Machines, The Chinkees, and Potshot. It should be an exciting time and a good chance to raise money for charity. What else.....I went to the dentist for the first time in 6 years and had 4 cavities and needed a root canal and a cap. It only cost me $2,137. Pretty cheap. I better brush better. Also, I still live at home with my mom. I'm 31 by the way. Yeah, I'm a winner. Ummmm.....I found the Smithers action figure here in Japan of all places. Only $20. It usually goes for $40 on ebay, so I feel pretty good about myself. Hey, thanks to everyone who did trades with me. Nothing too spectacular this time around, but some good toys, cd's, movies. I'm still waiting for someone to say they work at Disneyland and can get me in for free anytime. Well, I'm sure most of you are busy with school ending, so I guess I'll let you go. Have a good summer vacation. Be good everyone, smile big, and be nice to your parents unless they are mean to you. In that case, good luck
Peace Always, Mike Park
