Japan!! What an amazing place. I'm not sure If I could handle living there, but geez!!!!.... What a fun place to visit. I just returned home on Thursday after a way too short 6 days in Japan. Sleeping 19 hours total, getting lost on trains, not being able to speak Japanese(though everyone assumes I can), eating much sushi, watching Japanese Punk bands, walking for hours and hours, sleeping on the floor, trying not to stare too much at the cute Japanese girls, smoking cigarettes(though I don't smoke), going record shopping, seeing old friends, meeting new friends, seeing more bands, eating more food, and physically burning out. That's my trip to Japan in short form. It's like Disneyland, but 24/7. It could be friggin 5:15 AM and people are still milling about from the bars. It's insane. Anyways, I'm back home and even managed to see the Alkaline Trio last night, though I was extremely jet lagged and almost fell asleep. I got a good nights sleep, so I will try seeing them again tonight without the sleep deprivation.(did I spell that right?) Also, we're still going to have an asian man day at the Oakland A’s game this Wednesday June 18th. . The A’s are playing the Rangers. The game is at 7:05 PM. Unfortunately, $1 Wednesdays are now $2 Wednesdays. But that’s still pretty cheap. I will be bringing a full barbeque set up and we will have tons of food, drinks(Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and blaring PUNK ROCK. There’s no limit to how many people can go.
