NOTE:If this is your first time coming to the Asian Man newsletter and are wondering what the heck this newsletter is??? Well, it's just my place to rant about anything, so for real news, etc.., please email:miya@asianmanrecords.com and just request to be added to the mailing list and you will be sent news that actually pertains to the bands we work with.
Asian Man fans...I've been reminded that there's a livejournal community for asian man peeps, so if you want to pal it via the cyber world with some different people, here's the link:

I am lying here wide awake.. WHY? Argghh.. I have to get up in 5 hours and I'm wide awake. I guess it's due to a cup of tea that had too much caffeine. Oh well....I might as well take advantage of this awake time by updating this ol' newsletter. Lots of action going on around the asian man compound. Tons of releases are flooding through the asian man garage(Screeching Weasel, Bruce Lee Band, Satori, the Lawrence Arms, and many more). In addition to the busy schedule at work, my personal life is dizzying right now. Fortunately, we have two interns(Mark and Sean), with a third coming in next week. This is the first time I've had interns on regular schedule. With Miya leaving in August, I need to figure out how to make things work in her absence, so why not have interns and see what happens..
We've been having some insanely bad weather in Nor California. Not as bad as the southern part of the state, but nonetheless it's not what I want to be experiencing. If I want rain, I would move to Seattle. Oh well, it's gonna be spring soon and my poor neglected bike will once again be cherished and loved. By the way, I'm moving to Santa Cruz in April. Do you care? Didn't think so.
Anyways, the band Polysics from TOKYO are on tour in the US of A and I'm going to see them tomorrow in San Francisco and again in Monterey on Saturday. They're one of my favorite groups, so excitement is an understatement to describe my emotions. What a lucky boy I am. Be good ya'll...
Peace always,
Mike Park
