TRADES:Anybody live in the bay area?? Near San Francisco?? Want to trade stuff for Asian Man Records cd's, shirts, etc.. What free stuff you ask?? Basically anything...if you work in a restaurant, theater, any type of entertainment like arcades, batting cages, amusement parks, blah blah....anything. Let's trade!! Anything we have at Asian Man is up for trade.

What has happened to the power of trade?? In years past I would get so many friggin amazing hookups:
ICE CREAM
BASEBALL GAMES
MOVIES
PIZZA
ARCADES
AMUSEMENT PARKS
TOYS
-It got to a point where I had to turn stuff down, but this year I've only gotten three things:
1.STARBUCKS COFFEE(and I don't even drink coffee)
2.COMIC BOOKS(actually this was the best so far as MICK GRAY, illustrator for DC comics came over personally and made a big trade with me)
3.And the worst of the three was some guys art. Damn, he'll read this and think what a jerk Mike Park is. Dissing my art. But it was just hand drawn pictures on some paper and he asked if he could trade his art for my music, so being the nice guy I said yeah. Anyways, I'm babbling. Sorry.

Asian Man has been gearing up for a bunch of releases and I'm just trying to keep my head above water. Lots of my energy is directed towards PLEA FOR PEACE as we try to put together a non-profit music space by the end of the year. In fact, I am going to view a space in about 1 hour. Wish us luck in our endeavors. We need it. As for Asian Man, it's still something I love, but I feel that there is more to life than just business and constant pursuit of more and more. The Plea For Peace Foundation gives me an alternate drive to assist people through music.

I'm excited. Life has much to offer and I feel blessed to have been given opportunities to be involved in music and after 10 years at Asian Man, I hope we can continue to pursue our goals to put out quality music at affordable prices and to be politically involved in the awareness of PEACE AND UNITY!
