Hello people.....it's friggin Tuesday, the best day of the week. Do you agree? Anyways, I'm sitting cross legged with numbed fingers due to the drop in temperature this past week. And I've decided to write a weekly newsletter here. What does this mean you ask? Well, not much, just an outlet to spout more non-sensical jargon at you and hopefully tell some insightful stuff going on at Asian Man. But I'm gonna try and do this weekly and make Tuesday our special day of sharing. Deal?

There's a new singer/songwriter that we will be working with named Mike Hale. He is from Gainsville, Fl. and used to front the punk band GUNMOLL. They had a record on NO IDEA and were muy fantastico. His solo songs are beautiful and hopefully you will enjoy them as much as I do. Check out his music at myspace.com/mikehalemusic

For fans of Broadways/Honor System, Dan Hanaway has a new band called WHALE/HORSE. They self released this amazing record called "Count The Electric Sheep". They've only been selling it at their shows and through their own website, so I decided to step in and help out with some distro. for their record. To be honest, this is one of the best post-punk records I've heard. If you love Jawbox, Jawbreaker, etc.. You'll dig this album. I've got it up on the asian man site for $10 and I'm including the Honor System record as a bonus. These are long time friends of mine and I really want people to hear their music.
