DO YOU BOOK DIY SHOWS?-All of you who book shows across the United States or actually anywhere in the world, get in touch. Trying to build a good network of DIY venues/promoters for Asian Man Records bands. So get in touch if you can help with booking. mikeasianman@aol.com

Anything we have at Asian Man is up for trade. Actually, even if you live in a different state/country get in touch as I tour often and perhaps will end up through your town. BOOYAH!!

This page gets way too neglected as the weekly newsletter blast to our email list gives this the heave ho. Oh well, I'm writing this exclusively for this page, so woop dee doo, feel lucky for such a blessed event to occur. What am I saying? I'm making no sense. Ummm.. yup anyways....
We are continuing to put out tons of records here at ASIAN MAN HQ. Records from O PIONEERS!!!, LEMURIA, KEPI GHOULIE, and RYOJI(from POTSHOT) are all newly planned releases for the future. We also hope to release the last of the POTSHOT discography that never made it into the US of A.
I'm working on some kind of Asian Man tour next year. Hopefully with the Queers and some of the new Asian Man bands. We'll see what happens, but it's definitely time to do some kind of label tour. Come to think of it, I've never done an asian man tour before. Why? I don't know. But it's an exciting time for the label. Even though the music industry seems in despair, I'm feeling more optimistic than ever. There's something about the whole situation that makes it clear that those who are about the music will prevail and those money grubbing lechers will fall on hard times. Let's hope so as there seems to be a grand boost in great punk bands who seem to understand and embrace the philosophy of PUNK. Viva la punk rock.
By the way, Dan Potthast from MU330 is getting married today at 2 PM. I'm hosting a slew of out of towners. We'll be heading off to Santa Cruz in a few hours to celebrate their special day. Ahhhh... the old asian man band members are all getting married.
Look at the Alkaline Trio. All 3 members are hitched! Speaking of the trio, I'm banging my head in anticipation of their new record. They played me some demos of new music they've written and it sounds amazing. We might even be lucky enough to release the vinyl version of their new release that's coming out next year. I'm sincerely hoping that is true.
Alright, I guess that's enough for now. I'll try to write more often. Be well.
Peace always,
Mike Park
